Welcome to my world of nature conservation, wildlife photography and adventure travel. I have been doing photography for decades both as a dedicated amateur and a professional. Originally from South Africa and now living in North Carolina, I have visited many of the African famous national parks and a host of others in the world.

Wildlife photographers have a deliberate approach to viewing and photographing wildlife and benefit by traveling in small groups of guests with similar interests and a knowledgeable photographer guide. My photographic safaris are conceived for this group of guests wishing to visit subject rich locations with the amenities appropriate for photographers never having more than six guests on any outing. I select each location and timing based on the expected animal activity and the season to provide great opportunities for you to bring home the most exciting images of wild animals in their natural environment. I am acutely aware of the welfare of animals and choose partners that manifest the same outlook on the conservation of wildlife, are considerate of the impact on their environment and pay particular attention to the well-being of their staff and communities. We visitors benefit immensely from this considerate approach and the learning from guides and rangers while on safari.

Photographers of all skill levels are welcome; if you are interested in learning, practicing, and love wildlife, these trips are right for you. I am active on Instagram and Facebook; I shoot Canon, use Adobe Lightroom for processing images and stay away from Photoshop most of the time. I am a literal wildlife photographer - what I saw, you too will see! No textures; no additions; no cloning, no manipulations.
