BOTSWANA

The Okavango Delta is an alluvial zone flooded periodically with waters descending from the Angolan highlands heading to the Atlantic Ocean. Its size varies depending on the volume of water flowing into the area but the fascinating experience of being there, seeing the wildlife and taking in the sounds and sells never changes from an intoxicating high. Shown hereunder, a few images of iconic wildlife in the Delta.

PORTUGAL

Portugal is a small country on the western most side of Europe. Its historical pedigree is legendary, its cultural richness palpable, its cuisine unforgettable and the photographic opportunities limiless. 

NAMIBIA

Namibia is a large and sparsely populated country on Africa's south-west coast. Administered by South Africa for many years it is now a destination of choice for landscape photographers as the varied landscape provides many surreal photographic opportunities. Bounded by the cold sea on the west and the blazing desert on the east, the iron-rich red dunes of Sossusvlei are world renown. The landscape is rugged and varied and the indigenous groups enrichen any traveller's experience.

THE PANTANAL

The Pantanal is an immense tropical wetlands located mainly in western Brazil teeming with wildlife. It is home to hundreds of species of birds, different species of caiman and mammals like jaguars and capybaras. Summer rains flood the region, while the winter dry season creates plentiful lagoons trapping caiman, a meal delight for Jaguars.

EAST AFRICA

Although Eastern Africa comprises some twenty countries located on the eastern side of the continents, the wildlife is generally restricted to Kenya, Tanzania,Uganda and Rwanda. This gallery presents images from these countries.
